Telemedicine is rewriting the rules of care delivery.
The pandemic has disrupted the way doctors care for their patients, especially for ob/gyns. Virtual visits and telehealth appointments have become more common and have actually become the preferred method of care delivery for many patients. In fact, research shows that patients prefer them, as they are more likely to adhere to prescription intake and wellness recommendations.

In a recent article, Medical Economics explored the journey toward telehealth, and how the virtual visit has come to be the preferred method of care for doctors and patients alike.
“For those who have labeled telemedicine a ‘pandemic fad,’ the data is not on your side. 83% of patients plan to use telemedicine after COVID-19 no longer presents a worldwide emergency,” the article stated.
