
Cycle Syncing Method demonstrates reductions in premenstrual syndrome symptoms
According to FLO Living, the Cycle Syncing Method resulted in 92% of participants reporting meaningful reductions in the number and intensity of PMS symptoms after 60 days.
Results from the first clinical study evaluating FLO Living’s Cycle Syncing Method revealed reductions in premenstrual syndrome (PMS) symptom burden and severity within 2 months, according to a March 10, 2026, news release from FLO Living.1
Specifically, 92% of participants reported reductions in the number and intensity of PMS symptoms within 60 days, with some improvements occurring as early as 30 days. Results are based on an Institutional Review Board (IRB)-approved, 3-month study that provided a clinical validation for a diet and lifestyle approach to menstrual cycle health. By the end of the 3-month study period, other improvements such as reduced menstrual pain, blood sugar stability, better mood and energy, and increased cycle regularity were also observed.

The study was a virtual, single-group clinical trial that included 60 participants aged 22 to 42 years, of whom many had “long-standing menstrual symptoms such as painful cramps, heavy bleeding, headaches, bloating, acne, mood changes, fatigue, and sleep disruption,” according to FLO Living. Using the MyFLO app, study participants followed the Cycle Syncing Method every day, which provides phase-specific guidance for exercise type, nutrition, stress management, and scheduling aligned for the 4 phases of the menstrual cycle.
The study was done in conjunction with Mira’s at-home hormone tracking technology, Hello Inside’s continuous glucose monitoring and metabolic health insights, and Citruslabs’ IRB-approved research platform.
Key findings of Cycle Syncing Method included:
After 30 days:
- Eighty percent of participants reported fewer symptoms and reduced symptom severity.
After 60 days:
- 91.89% of participants reported reductions in both symptom burden and symptom intensity
After 90 days:
- 85.7% reduction in total reported symptoms
- 94.44% reported improved blood sugar stability
- 80.56% reported less painful periods
- Nearly 90% reported improved mood and energy
- 50% experienced more regular menstrual cycles

Impacting approximately 80% of menstruating women, and with a global prevalence of 47.8%, PMS remains “one of the most under-researched and under-treated aspects of women's health,” according to FLO Living.1,2
