March is endometriosis awareness month around the world. It culminates in a march for awareness and research on the 25th. 2017 marks the 4th year this march has been held. In the United States, marchers will step out in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Washington, DC, Atlanta, Louisville, Kentucky, and Minneapolis. The Endometriosis Association (http://www.endometriosisassn.org) has free brochures and yellow ribbons to help raise awareness. The association is in its 35th year. Those wishing to contribute to finding a cure or honoring a loved one with the condition can purchase engraved bricks for a “garden of hope,” light a virtual candle, and click through to shopping sites to support the foundation.
