NCQA says performance pay improves medical care
For the fifth year in a row, the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) has found that the overall performance of health plans has improved. Part of the credit for that improvement can be attributed to initiatives that reward physicians who provide better patient care, it claims.
