Surgical mesh for treating urinary stress incontinence.

Mpathy Medical, a Glasgow, Scotland-based company founded by a gynecologist, has brought to the United States market its line of ultra lightweight, less invasive surgical mesh solutions for restoring pelvic health, having received FDA-510(k)- clearance. According to the company, whose US arm is in Raynham, MA, Minitape, its minisling for treating urinary stress incontinence (SUI), is the only adjustable minisling on the market that delivers the best features of both a minisling and full-length tape. This product allows for post-op adjustment within 72 hours.
