News: ACOG calls on Congress for health-care reform

The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists has sent a letter and campaign kit to every senator, representative, and delegate in Congress, urging support of ACOG's "Health Care for Women, Health Care for All" campaign. ACOG Legislative & Regulatory News (5/23/08) described the health-reform plan as embracing five basic principles:

ACOG is urging members to obtain its free campaign kit and use the material to lobby federal or state lawmakers, educate the public, and evaluate the health-care proposals of political candidates. The kit can be downloaded at http://www.acog.org/goto/healthcarereform.
