Physicians' lawsuits against insurers to go forward as class action
The 11th US Circuit Court of Appeals in Atlanta has upheld the ability of 900,000 active and retired physicians to pursue their claims against several health insurers as a class action. The lawsuit, which alleges that the health insurers systematically underpaid the physicians, has been set for March 2005.
