The 90th annual Medical Economics Physician Report was conducted by Readex Research in November 2018. The survey asked 134 ob/gyns about what type of practice best describes the one they belonged to.
Thirty-seven of the respondents work in a solo practice. This is the largest group of respondents.
Seventeen respondents work in partnership with one other physician.
Thirty-one respondents belong to a partnership or group of three to six physicians. This was the largest response group for small, multi-phyisician practices.
Sixteen respondents belong to a partnership or group of 7 to 10 physicians.
Fourteen respondents said they belong to a group of 11 to 25 physicians.
Just one respondent belonged to a group of 26 to 50 physicians.
Sixteen ob/gyns responded that they belong to a group of over 50 physicians.
Two participants did not answer this question in the survey.
