World Breastfeeding Week: August 1 to August 7

Celebrated annually by the World Alliance for Breastfeeding Action (WABA), World Breastfeeding Week is a global campaign to raise awareness and galvanize action on themes related to breastfeeding.

August is National Breastfeeding Month, and what better way to begin than with World Breastfeeding Week?

World Breastfeeding Week 2021 will focus on how breastfeeding contributes to the survival, health and wellbeing of all, and the imperative to protect breastfeeding worldwide. WABA aims to increase online engagement over the year in light of the COVID-19 outbreak. Use this kit to guide your social media advocacy before, during and after #WBW2021.
