RSV Roundtable: Addressing the senior population


In the fourth installment of RSV Roundtable, our panel explains the challenges in protecting the senior population against RSV.

Welcome to the fourth episode of our 5-episode series; respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) Roundtable, a collaborative project from Contemporary Pediatrics, Contagion, and Contemporary OB/GYN.

This series discusses several aspects of RSV including incidence rates, vaccines, and immunizations.

In this episode, our panel evaluates challenges in providing RSV vaccination to the senior population, including the lack of a "one size fits all" recommendation and risk factors such as heart failure that are more common in this population.
