Data on COVID-19 during pregnancy, as reported by the CDC, in collaboration with state, local, and territorial health departments and external partners.

Here’s the latest data, updated on July 18, 2022:

  • New cases the week of July 2: 546
  • New cases the week of July 9: 217

From Jan. 22, 2020 to July 18, 2022:

  • Total pregnant women with COVID-19: 224,587
  • Total deaths: 305
  • Total hospitalized cases: 34,527
  • Total cases admitted to the ICU: 672
  • Required invasive ventilation: 148
  • Required ECMO: 42

Pregnant women with COVID-19 by Race/Ethnicity from Jan. 22, 2020 to June 20, 2022:

  • Hispanic/Latinx: 70,691
  • Asian, Non-Hispanic: 6,604
  • Black, Non-Hispanic: 28,143
  • White, Non-Hispanic: 77,564
  • Multiple or other race, Non-Hispanic: 9,407
