The diagnosis of our 30 year old female with polymenorrhea and dysmenorrhoea is adenomyosis.

These images show  typical features of this condition.  You will note:

Globular uterus with inhomogeneity of the myometrium

Increased vascularity in posterior wall of the body and fundus of uterus.
