NIRVANA Study Findings on Early Onset of VMS and Sleep Relief

Fiona C. Baker, PhD, reviews NIRVANA’s findings showing early onset of relief for both VMS and sleep disturbances, supported by patient-reported improvements in sleep quality, duration, and nighttime awakenings.

The NIRVANA study demonstrated early and meaningful improvements in both vasomotor symptoms and sleep, with some benefits reported as soon as the first week of treatment. Objective data showed reductions in wakefulness after sleep onset and fewer nighttime awakenings, reinforcing the subjective improvements reported by participants. Together, these findings validate that symptom relief is both rapid and measurable across multiple modalities.
